First Post!!
Hello! I am so excited to be writing a blog for you. I think the thing I love most about blogs is that they always cheer you up , and are kind of like online journals. First things first let me tell you a little bit about me; I love art and I love to sing. One thing I promised myself about starting a blog is I would be completely honest with you all, so here it goes. My day today was not that bad I mean no one has a perfect life, right. Sometimes I wonder if God made everyone the same what would life be. Has anyone read or seen The Giver, sure some of them have different talents but everyone's life is pretty much the same , that would be horrible. I loved The Giver. I always think about so many people live their lives with "comfort" as the highest good. If it makes you happy and comfortable, then it must be good, right?

I remember when I used to teach The Giver in my classes, the other books hadn't been written yet, and so we didn't have any clear answer about what happened to Jonas and Gabriel. All the kids in my class *hated* that they didn't know if the boys lived or died, and they were so frustrated by that not knowing. Personally, I liked the ambiguity of it all- because it caused discomfort, and because it's like life, isn't it? We don't always know how things turn out.
